H.E. Kim Sethany

H.E. Kim Sethany, a prominent figure in Cambodian civil service, was born on January 12, 1979, in Kratie province. With a strong academic background, she earned a bachelor's degree in Public Law, followed by a Master's in Public Administration and Policy. Despite facing criticism and skepticism, she pursued her dream of becoming a civil servant. Over the years, she held various positions in the Phnom Penh Municipality, showcasing exemplary dedication and leadership skills.

In 2013, Sethany was appointed as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, marking a significant milestone in her career. Despite facing challenges such as balancing work and family life, she persevered and became the youngest and only woman Director in the Phnom Penh Municipality. Through her hard work and commitment, she achieved her dream of serving in a top position.

As a leader, Sethany emphasizes the importance of self-belief, having a strong mission, and being willing to fail.
